Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a ticket. By purchasing a raffle ticket, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility & Age Restrictions

  • Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of ticket purchase to enter any Kels and Mels Raffles draw.
  • Prizes will not be handed over to minors.
  • Proof of identity and age will be required before any prize is released.

2. Ticket Purchases & Strict No-Refund Policy

  • All ticket prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR).
  • Strict No-Refunds: Once a raffle ticket is purchased, the transaction is final. No refunds, cancellations, or exchanges will be issued under any circumstances, including but not limited to change of mind, financial hardship, or dissatisfaction with the draw outcome.

In accordance with South African consumer standards for games of chance, a ticket purchase represents a completed chance in a live draw; therefore, the standard cooling-off periods under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) do not apply to finalized ticket entries.

3. Draw Auditing & Transparency

To ensure total fairness, transparency, and elimination of manipulation, all winner selections are managed through an independently auditable random selection system.

Draw dates are fixed as advertised per raffle tier. If an extension is legally required due to administrative delays, notice will be published across our official digital broadcast platforms.

4. Prize Redemption & Forfeiture

  • Winners will be contacted directly via the phone number or email provided during purchase.
  • If a winner cannot be reached or fails to provide valid identification within 30 calendar days of the draw announcement, Kels and Mels Raffles reserves the right to forfeit the prize or draw a replacement winner.
  • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash equivalents unless explicitly stated in the specific raffle description.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Lotteries Act 57 of 1997 and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African regulatory bodies and courts.
